To workout from home takes a special kind of discipline and strength.
Something I like to call character.
A combination of virtues and traits that give a person the capacity to overcome adversity and find strength and opportunity – regardless of what life throws their way.
If you workout with Team Body Project YOU have that strength.
1. You need to set a time of day and turn up when nobody is checking up on you
2. You have to find your personal limits in the workouts without anybody actually seeing you
3. You need to commit to repeating this process
4. You do it EVEN though its often hard
5. You do it even though its easy NOT to (right?)
Whilst I have deep respect for every person whom walks this planet, it’s clear to me that not everybody will reach this stage of character development for many understandable reasons…but you have.
I empathise with, and support, every human heart – but that doesn’t translate into the deep BELIEF I hold for our members.
The deep belief I have for you, our members, is founded in the evidence you have provided me – by pressing play.
Each and every one of you possess a level of personal responsibility that WILL constitute success.
I would like you to think hard on that.
95% of people have the alarm go off, and decide to do go back to sleep.
95% of people don’t work out even though they know they ‘should’
95% of people talk about working out but don’t do it.
YOU DO IT! That’s character.
You don’t do it because I say you should (that’s obedience), or because the doctor says you should (that’s guilt/fear) or because somebody is waiting with a stopwatch and checking up on you.
No.
You do it because YOU have CHOSEN to taken responsibility for your health and have independently taken steps to do something about it.
That’s the kind of person you are.
Doubt can creep in and cause you to question yourself.
Mistakes are made, workouts are missed, donuts go missing ….but you know what, these are not foundational issues IF you remember you have already demonstrated the type of person you are.
A person in possession of the virtue and strength to overcome challenges, obstacles and mistakes…
I want you to know this about yourself as you press play today.
My admiration for you runs deep. Now go get it!
