I believe that an important point about eating healthy was overlooked in this conversation. Either Camilla or Alex mentioned using Almond milk in smoothies, but every brand of almond milk that I have ever seen, apart from one, uses refined oil and that goes for the unsweetened varieties as well. Many people deem almond milk as healthy but I’m not so sure about this for the reason just given. I think people should try to go for milk alternatives that don’t use refined oil in them.
I’ve adopted the frozen zucchini recommendation for smoothies. Brilliant!! This works great. Now have a ridiculous stock of frozen z. in the freezer.
